Draw the Line

On May 21st, SAVIS hosted its first DRAW THE LINE event at the Bronte Youth Centre and Queen Elizabeth Park Youth Centre to coincide with Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
DRAW THE LINE is a new joint initiative by the Ontario Coalition of Rape Crisis Centres (OCRCC) and Action ontarienne contre la
violence faite aux femmes (AOCVF), which aims to educate youth about responding to violence.
During this event youth were able to participate in various activities, challenging where they would “draw the line” in real life, complex scenarios. This was an excellent way to involve younger people in ending violence and creating a safer community.
