SAVIS is hiring Summer Students!

SAVIS of Halton is now accepting resumes for two exciting summer student opportunities!

Each position will include a 10 week contract, beginning June 22 until August 28, 2015.

Candidates must be between 18 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment, have been registered as a full-time student during the preceding academic year and intend to return to school full-time during the next academic year.

The Male Ally Network & Outreach Program Assistant will support the launch of the Male Ally Network project.  This project seeks to engage men and boys to challenge the narrow definitions of masculinity and enlist male volunteers to work to end gendered violence.

The Public Education Assistant will support the Public Education Department through researching and developing educational resources and support and assistance in the planning and coordination of events and projects (e.g. Take Back the Night).
