6:00 pm Ceremonial Walk from Holy Trinity School
2420 Sixth Line, Oakville (gather at parking lot north of school) To Sheridan College Medicine Garden
on Ceremonial Drive West between Parking lots 1 and 1A lead by Mohawk Elder David Grey Eagle, carrier of the 1817 Peace and Friendship Medal
7:00 pm Ceremony begins
(strawberry water and strawberries provided) 8 – 8:30 pm Community Gathering & Engagement

Please join Cayuga Grandmother Renee Thomas-Hill from the Six Nations of the Grand River territory along with your community in Traditional Ceremony as we honour our Sisters in Spirit

The REDress Project is an installation art project based on aesthetic response to the more than 1000 missing and murdered Indigenous women in Canada by artist Jamie Black. Dresses will be installed in public spaces throughout Oakville as a visual reminder of the staggering number of women who are no longer with us.
